Urban Decay Naked2 Palette Review

IMG_4613

This is my all time favorite eyeshadow palette! The neutral shades are impeccable and so versatile. The shade I most frequently use in this palette is Suspect. My other favorites include Half Baked, Chopper, Verve, and YDK. When creating eye looks with this palette I frequently use either Tease or Suspect as a base shade, Snakebite or Busted in the outer corner, and then the shade Verve in the inner corner. There are a few other shades in this palette that I wish I would use more, but I tend to stick to with the same ones.

If any of you would like to see a tutorial with this palette let me know in the comments! I can either make a blog post or create a video. <3

IMG_4618Tip: Fallout are specks of eyeshadow ‘dust’ that fall from your eyelid or makeup brush when applying your eyeshadow. This fallout frequently lands directly under your eye and can be difficult to remove if your face makeup is already applied.

With all Urban Decay eyeshadows I have found that there can be a bit of fallout. To help prevent this fallout from ruining the rest of my makeup, I always use a primer and I always apply my eyeshadow before applying my face makeup. That way if some does fall on my cheeks I can clean it up without ruining my foundation.

This palette includes five exclusive shades that are not offered as individual eye shadows. Only three of the twelve shades are of a matte finish, but I’m okay with that because I love shimmer and glitter!

This palette can be found on Urban Decay’s Website, as well as at Sephora and Ulta. The retail price for this palette is $54, but as I said earlier it is very versatile and can be worn many many different ways. It is also very handy for traveling!

Below are two pictures of swatches from this palette. I did swatch these with a primer underneath. The primer also helps the shadows to become more pigmented and allows the color to stand out more. Here is a link to the eye shadow primer I’m currently using.

  • This is favorite too! This and the Lorac Pro palette.

    • I’m dying to get the Lorac Unzipped Gold Palette!! 🙂

      • It looks gorgeous. I just got the top faced chocolate bar. Also looks ah-mazing!
